Les Fils Canouche

12 sparkling years on stage and 600 concerts through the hexagon have turned this French quatuor into quite a solid group of Jazz explorers. Beneath their skilled fingers, the double bass and the wild rythmic guitar sway to the tuning fork, while the bass clarinett melody meets the soaring of an accordion enjoying a free ride. Looking tirelessly at the four cardinal points for the best accoustic energies, "Les Fils Canouche" express their swinging mood through unleashed tangos, 5 quarter-time waltz or even gipsy rumbas. As fiercy disciples of a modern Django or a resurected Piazzolla, they blur the boundaries of time and music to provide you with a pure moment of gipsy swing.

The Band has played more than 600 concerts in Europe (including first parts : "Thomas Dutronc", "Les doigts de l'Homme", "Samarabalouf"), and numerous festivals ("Shetlandfolk Festival", "Buskers Bern", Le Chainon Manquant", "Jazz à Vienne", "Django à Liberchies" ...).
